Clyde Cordova was born in January 1953 in Ogden, Utah, where he grew up on the west side of the Rocky Mountains. He attended Ogden High School, graduating with a foundation of grit and curiosity that would shape his life’s work. In 1971, he moved to Reno, Nevada, where he built a successful career in construction and property stewardship. His work took him throughout the western states and along the West Coast, but he never lost touch with the values shaped by his early years in Utah.
Though his career demanded precision and endurance, Clyde carried a lifelong love of writing — a passion that waited patiently until the time was right. In 2021, he published his first book, The Truth, followed by The New World in 2022 and A New Beginning in 2023. His fourth book, The Hidden, continued his exploration of truth and legacy. His latest release, Listening Learning Waiting (2025), looks toward the near future, examining artificial intelligence, how quickly it is evolving, and where it may lead us as a society.
Clyde’s writing blends lived experience with principled reflection, offering readers a voice rooted in stewardship, authenticity, and mapped storytelling. His work transcends genre, inviting readers into a rhythm of thought that honors both the past and the future.
